What it does

Reads Apple Contacts, and also derives contacts from calendar event attendees and organisers over a 30-days-back to 30-days-ahead window, adding anyone whose email is not already in Apple Contacts.
An alphabetically sectioned sidebar with search across name, email, company and job title, a Favorites section, a group filter, and a "Birthdays Today" banner you can dismiss until tomorrow.
Favorites, groups and "hidden" flags are your own layer on top of Apple Contacts, stored in CloudKit so they reach the iOS app. Deleting asks whether you mean "Hide from mChatAI" or "Delete from Apple Contacts".
When you filter to a group, its banner gets an "Actions" menu: "Message All" opens a compose sheet, "Email All" opens your mail client addressed to every member, and "Export vCard" writes a .vcf of the group to your Desktop and reveals it in Finder.
"AI Actions" → "Research Contact" sends the person's name plus company, job title, location and any non-consumer email domain to a web-search model (Perplexity, falling back to Google) and fills a "Web Presence" section with a short bio and links to whichever LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, GitHub or personal-site profiles it is confident about.
Contacts with a company, a job title, or a group with "work" in the name get a "Professional CRM" section: a deal-stage segmented picker, free-text notes, and a next action with an optional due date, all saved per contact as you type.

Expand the "More Apps" band on the home screen and open the "AI Contacts" tile — it carries a "SETUP" badge until you grant contacts access.
Select someone in the sidebar, open the "AI Actions" menu in the toolbar and choose "Research Contact" to fill in the "Web Presence" section.
Right-click a contact row and use "Add to Group", then filter with the groups menu in the toolbar and use the group banner's "Actions" menu for "Email All" or "Export vCard".
Open the gear button in the toolbar for "Contacts Settings" and choose "Import Contacts..." if you would rather sync only the people you pick.
