Reading & research
Quiznect
Type a subject, get a multiple-choice quiz with explanations, then study it in five-question rounds.
Reading & research
What it does
- "Create" takes a subject and optional tags and asks a language model for ten or twenty four-option questions, each with a correct answer and a short explanation; a returned question is kept only if it has non-empty text, exactly four options, and a correct answer that is one of them — the rest are discarded
- Twelve quizzes ship with the app — Python Programming, World Geography, World History, Ancient Civilizations, Classic Literature, Algebra, Physics, Human Anatomy, Psychology, Spanish Basics, Movies & Film, Cooking & Cuisine — 993 questions in total
- Study runs five shuffled questions at a time out of the whole pool, marks your answer the moment you click, reveals the "Explanation" panel, and keeps your best score per quiz
- Finishing a round submits your percentage to a per-quiz leaderboard and shows your rank, the total number of players, your percentile, and whether it is a personal best
- Podcasts: pick a quiz, generate a 2-3 minute script from its questions, then optionally render it to audio in one of six voices (Alloy, Nova, Shimmer, Echo, Onyx, Fable) at standard or HD quality — finished audio plays in the app's podcast player, and the script can be shown inline
- A Discuss tab keeps a comment thread per quiz, ordered by how many comments each has, and the same thread appears under your results screen when you finish a round
How to try it
- Open Quiznect and click "Create" in the sidebar.
- Type a subject such as "Linear Algebra", pick the "Full Quiz" option, and click "Generate Quiz".
- Answer each question, read the "Explanation" panel that appears, then click "Next Question".
- Click "Podcasts" in the sidebar, choose a quiz and click "Generate Podcast".
Works with
- The app's podcast player — generated audio plays through the same player as subscribed podcasts
- The shared leaderboard service at api.mchatai.com/v1/leaderboards, which other parts of the platform also use
- The shared DiscussionView threads used elsewhere in the app
